DOUXO® Calm Serum helps reduce skin inflammation, maintain the balance of the microflora and restore skin functions as a protective barrier. Its formula has been developed to relieve the symptoms of sensitive and allergic skin. • Phytosphingosine is a natural component of the epidermis. It is a pro-ceramide with anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antiseborrhoeic properties.

The lack of phytosphingosine is associated with:

• Seborrheic dermatitis

• alterations of the skin and the lipid layer

• over-growth of bacteria and yeasts

• Hinokitiol is a natural antibacterial and anti-fungal agent. It helps control the skin's ecosystem when inflammation occurs.

• Raspberry seed oil incorporates the fatty acids needed to restore the structure of the skin. It is also rich in tocopherols (vitamin E) that provide its known properties as antioxidants.

• Pemulen® provides a refreshing and soothing sensation at the time it is applied to the skin.

• Glycofilm® creates a matrix on the surface that acts as a second skin.
