Coatex Treating shampoo is a gentle and effective shampoo that can be used in different problems following the veterinarian's guidelines.

Our Coatex range consists of Essential Fatty Acids (EFA) Omega 3 and shampoos to help keep your pet's skin and coat in optimum condition.

What can cause poor hair health?

• Bacteria growth: Typically caused by a rare wash, which caused the overgrowth of naturally occurring bacteria on the skin.
• Skin problems: One of the most common problems in dogs.
• Coat health: Sometimes dogs have a coat in poor conditions, which can range from a layer of poor hair to areas with hair loss.
• Fungi: They are usually caused by an overgrowth of a yeast type that lives on the skin naturally, or from pathogenic fungi, such as ringworm.

Signs of poor skin health

There are many signs of possible fur problems in dogs, some of which can lead to skin disorders. The main ones are:

• Matte cover
• Dry or red skin
• Skin with scales or dandruff
• Itch
• Poor hair growth

Instructions for use:

To ensure the effectiveness of the product we recommend following the following guidelines:

1. Use warm water - To avoid discomfort to your pet use water at room temperature.
2. Apply the product - Apply shampoo by massaging your pet's skin while adding water continuously to facilitate dispersion. Continue until a thick layer is formed.
3. Rinse thoroughly. - Use water at room temperature.
4. Apply a second soap - Gently massage the coat of your pet with the shampoo.
5. Wait - Let the shampoo act for 5 to 10 minutes.
6. Final rinse - Thoroughly rinse your pet, making sure to rinse around the ears and abdomen.
7. Dry properly - Have several clean, dry towels to dry your pet.
